Our photographer will produce and distribute compelling photographs. Working both individually and as a team, while collaborating with constituencies across campus, you will produce a wide range of portrait, event, editorial, and architectural photography used for a variety of communication, engagement, scientific, or educational purposes. Provide studio and environmental photography and post editing services, including and not limited to headshots, portraits, group photography, event photography, product and research items photography, etc, all as assigned. Collaborate with marketing and media colleagues and clients to supply imagery to enhance university wide digital and print projects. Cover newsworthy events and meet with key stakeholders as assigned. Provide technical and creative consultation to clients to provide photographic services. Coordinate photographic planning, shooting, and editing. Archive photography in digital asset program (Libris), use project management system (currently Infowit) to record hours and invoicing. Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues. Required: • Bachelor's degree • Two years' experience producing professional quality digital photography outdoors and indoors, using flash/strobes and other lighting equipment, setting up backdrops, and editing digital photos in post production software • A valid US or Canadian Driver's license Additional Information: • Purdue will not sponsor employment authorization for this position • A background check will be required for employment in this position • FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible For Overtime) • Retirement Eligibility: Defined Contribution Waiting Period • Purdue University is an EOE/AA employer.
