List HQ received this note from Jan Faul who asked to post to list. A crooked storage center here will auction off the contents of my storage locker I made the mistake of renting a year or so ago on July 9. I am trying to prevent the from happening, as the contents are mostly my prints and some photo equipment. In an effort to further defraud me they have refused to send me an inventory or an accurate price due. I think it’s about $2400 for my prints (about 20 20x28 framed) darkroom equipment, lab furniture, possibly a Mamiya RZ, etc. They are waiting for me to reneg on the payment, so they can sell it to their crooked friends. Is there anybody on this list who would like to help? I can return the payment in 60 days, as I am selling several antiques estimated at $30,000 and it will certainly cover any costs associated with saving my work from a bunch of crooks.
