The video, indicated in Karl's email, discussed that point about the availability of good used cameras and described why the Reflex was designed to be better in the ways that modern usage would prefer. Interesting -- especially referring to the California law that prohibits schools from buying used equipment.

Ambitious concept indeed, but perhaps 50 years too late. Considering the plethora of excellent condition used Nikons, Canons, and even Hasselblads on the market, I doubt it's economically viable at the projected price point.
