I was in Syria 5 years ago. I would not go today! There is no place in Syria that is safe today.
I photographed Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Turkey this year. They would not go back. Syria is probably the most dangerous place to travel in the Middle East.
Tell your son not to go!! NO!
