why not? Of course, no photographer actually pushed the button, but these are very well-composed images.
Is there a difference between redacting a hastily taken snapshot or a satellite image?

At the moment, there's at least a human being sifting through the images and cropping/editing them.
However, what if there was a software doing this based on parameters which a neuronal network may have found to be artistically pleasing?

Can there be art without an artist?
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, a clever program may indeed be more successful than a traditional photographer.
