I hope to make regular weekly contributions now I have bought a new compact digital.

Not people or children except in street scenes. To do with the law forbidding the worship of graven images. We do, like images of film stars or girl friends it also looks like she's up for sale.

Not a good idea. Worshipping your wife is ok.

Some have statues of saints or Jesu Cristos and talk to them. Some kneel before Icons.. Pretty bad.

I have stopped photographing plants so I take buildings as they are men's work.

I cannot make plants.

So taking a photograph of one is not my work. Worshipping plants is ok but not photographs of them.

Educational photography is ok. I did it for medical students once.. Horror on horror.

Christopher Strevens.

Subject: PF gallery updated on 08/08/2015 with 2 new photographs

The PhotoForum members' gallery/exhibit space was updated August 8, 2015. Authors with work now on display at: http://people.rit.edu/andpph/gallery.html include:

Chris Strevens - On my Path
                        Dan Mitchell - Outwell

NOTE: RIT is still messing with their upload system and the regular URL for the gallery may not be correct. Please go to this alternate location: http://andpph.com/gallery.html

SPECIAL NOTICE: a SERIES collection by Kosats Papakotas - In the Museum Garden - can be seen in the Gallery-10 of PhotoForum and can be reached by following this link: http://www.davidhazy.org/andpph/gallery-10/

Last week the counter read 25235 and when this collection was installed the counter read 25467

Enqueued for future installation: None. It would be great to see photographs from more members!

To participate in this activity find instructions at: http://people.rit.edu/andpph/gallery-sub.html

Please do not send images until your last one was installed. Saves headaches. Send your contributions early and anything you can do to prepare the photographs so they do not require additional adjustment would be much appreciated. Especially keeping them near 1000 pix in longest dimension and 200Kb in maximum size. Large images that run off the edges of average monitors are a pain. Larger is not always better!

Please take an extra minute to abide by this request but if you have doubts about how to prepare images just send them anyway and the capable gallery staff will adjust them for exhibition.

Did you know you could have a series exhibition? Learn all about it on the instructions page mentioned above.
