I have gone back to PS CS6. I have used PS CC and Lightroom 5.  Lightroom 5 seemed more efficient as one could things more like raw adjustments modules do. However the having a catalogue only assessable thru LR made keeping track of files manipulate later on harder  and especially when I had to transfer volumes of file back into my main data base. I didn't know of CO until it was mentioned on this list. I will definitely look at it when I have some slow time which will probably be next fall.

Hi

There is a big difference between CO5 and CO8.

I use it from 5 till 8.2

Learning curve of CO is longer than of LR. Especially if you have LR habits.

I do not work tethering but I can say that  CO8's editing algorithms are very good.

"Ctrl L" do auto editing much better than LR do.

I prefer LR's managing the photos more friendly.
