Lea Murphy - Big brother
I like that you included the
big brother in the session by himself. The
lighting is terrific and you used the
shallow depth-of-field well.
Dan Mitchell -
Shop-frontage, Number 4
A nice collection of shapes.
The circular sign offsets the rectangles
well in both shape and tone.
Guy Glorieux - Impending
storm
A very dramatic image that, I
feel, would have been better with more sky
and less of the bottom.
Art Faul - Pass-through,
Indian Head, 1991
I would have been a huge fan
of this if you didn’t have the middle
element in color. The rest is strong
enough without that.
Robert G. Earnest -
I like the flow of the
composition. I suspect this is, or was,
part of a zoo display. If that is the
case, I like that there are no animals
seen.
Mark Harris - Spine (Anna)
One additional note, the only
processing was conversion to B&W and
levels, all in Aperture.
Yoram Gelman - Pocantico
Trail
You have captured the tone and
texture of the snow brilliantly. Again,
the composition is terrific.
Randy Little - Sunset in
Santa Monica.
I like the placement of the
horizon this low. The colors are rendered
beautifully. The capture and inclusion of
the bird is fabulous. The image wouldn’t
have been as good without it.
One final note, I was pleased to
see my image placed with Robert’s and
Yorum’s, as the lines and textures
compliment each other well.
