The PhotoForum members' gallery/exhibit space
was updated October 11, 2014. Authors with work
now on display at:
http://people.rit.edu/andpph/gallery.html
include:
Emily Ferguson - Oyster barge at dawn on the
Palix River, Willipa Bay, WA state
Dan Mitchell - Trees
I'd like a little breathing space around them. They feel claustrophobic.
Klaus Knuth - Wicker Stilife
This photo looks like the subject was picked up
from its context and carried out into an
unrelated ecosystem. It just looks too posed -
the light is too even and undermines a focal
point.
Jan Faul - Classensgade 32, Østerbro
In maybe 50 more years someone will find this
image historically valuable. In the meantime, it
seems very bland and lacks a focal point.
Trevor Cunningham - smoke
The shape of the smoke is interesting and well
revealed, but those white spots really grab
attention from it for me. Perhaps revealing the
source of the smoke would anchor the image a bit.
It would be nice to see more images next week.
Today is Thursday. Look over your portfolio and
find something to contribute!
