Your files are stored on your computer; if you have an older version of PS they'll open.

I've been running PSCC in trial mode for a few days now. SIGNIFICANTLY HUGELY faster than CS3 (it could do all I needed and so I never upgraded until a plug-in I wanted wouldn't work on CS3 and forced the upgrade). I'm pleased with the way it's working on my system. $10 a month saves me a load of money upfront which is nice.

Dan Mitchell asked me to facilitate the inclusion of his message onto the list as it was rejected by the listerver as containing a word that prompted it to act because it contained the word S**bscription in the message. This is something to “think” about … if anyone on the lust gets a similar “rejection”. The program that runs the list is sensitive to certain words especially if they appear on the firs line of a message body. It “thinks” you are trying to execute a command … like adding yourself or deleting yourself from lust, etc. So I have modified the offending word and hopefully the message goes through as intended.

Personally I just do not like, or will ever buy, any software on su*scription.  It's simply a way for vendors to forever collect money, and only benefits the vendor - it's pay-up or we brick your software.  Users never did buy new versions of P.S. everytime one became available; they stuck to their tried and tested older version until something significant was added - not good for the vendor.

Just as with Cloud based software you are giving away your total control - but Clouds fail as we know and licence servers can also fail.  Beware, it is just as possible to sell hardware to run the same way; you are at the thin end of an awfully big wedge !

I'm pondering upgrading to PS on the cloud.

Can anyone using this service speak to the ease of using it, any highlights or pitfalls to watch out for.

Thanks so much,
