Should this not have been headed lack of reviewers. No matter what else is being discussed on the forum there is always the possibility of commenting on the current gallery.

I usually only make my comments, or ask questions, directly to the author of the images rather than on the forum but, not as a value judgement but only a reflection of what appeals to me, I have seen little that has caused me to linger in looking, let alone to take time to make a comment.

However when I read reviews I much prefer those from which I can learn something rather than being told that person A 'likes' the work of exhibitor B.

Subject: Abject lack of reviews

Y'know, it used to be fun to see what people thought about the
gallery every week. We used to get 3 or 4 reviews and enjoy talking
about what each other thought or why we did what we did.

Now, I see week after week fewer and fewer submissions and more and
more contentious discussions about non-issues like whether anyone
actually enjoys digital photography, as tho digital photography is
somehow not photography, or enjoying using an iPhone is worthy of
disrespect.

Is this the forum we want? Or do we want it to be different?
