I didn’t make the list,as if I had, it would be vastly different. For starters, would have Bodie, AMARC, the Nevada Test Site (now called the NNSS because somebody’s brother-in-law owns a sign shop and needed work), and the US Capitol which is supposedly filled with Congresspeople although nothing seems to happen there. Perhaps all of Nevada other than Reno, Vegas, Laughlin, and Carson City should be on the list too. The people who made this list obviously didn’t have the juice to get onto any US Government land as these days you have to bring your passport for entry and to prove your American-ness. For other deserted spots go to http://www.clui.org/ludb and go through the database. Try not to be shocked when you discover that the old deserted factory you drive by every day is actually an EPA Superfund site or a closed uranium enrichment center. If you want to see some really scary stuff on Google Earth, read this and then go look it up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanford_Site and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raven_Rock_Mountain_Complex. Also look at land southeast of Hawthorne NV and try to imagine that those hundreds of bunkers are empty and not full of bombs. I could go on, but then few of you could sleep tonight.
