As for quiet, there is no such thing as most generators run almost straight pipes. The sound can be directed however, and exhausts can be pointed away from your set. I put a 4” thick styrofoam 3-sided box around mine and run longer extension cords for quiet. I don’t think your generator needs to be much more than a 2kW generator.
