This is a plug for NM from a guy who used to walk all over the place.
Also visit Silver City as there is more to see near it and if you like hot water, it bubbles out of the ground in many places now equipped at hot tubs. By all means make sure to visit Whitewater Walk and Gila Bend Cliff Dwellings.
