I read a news blurb that they had rescinded it'
 
Here is a post by someone from my photo club who response to my original post that Instagram was going to steal peoples photo rights.

"Instagram apologizes to users: We won't sell your photos - In a blog post this afternoon, Chief Executive Kevin Systrom said it's "our mistake that this language is confusing" and that the company is "working on updated language."
"Since making these changes, we've heard loud and clear that many users are confused and upset about what the changes mean," he wrote."

Funny, nothing unclear to me - They could sell your images without permission and not pay you. Clear as a bell.

Hmm I haven't seen that it's reversed the policy.  Only that it's
admitted that people are upset and it is thinking over what to do
about it.
