Some time ago there was a thread on this subject. I just got a Nikon 1 V1 together with an FT1 adapter. Looks like I can mount most of my lenses and they work just fine. The neat part is the 2.7X factor so my 50mm f/1.4 turns into a 135mm f/1.4 etc. Manual lenses remain - well manual. AF-S lenses remain automatic. Anyway this is one way to move old optics forward relatively I expensively. James Sent from David's iPad
