Ok to quote someone really famous, "I'm so confused." Before I get into a massive keywording job, I want to know how to restore from a backup the lightroom catalog and how to make the back up catalog find the images (which also as a result might be on a different hard drive) and have a plan for total failure before I start.
Before going though thousands of pages of google advise, Id appreciate anyone that can point me to something they have found effective. Especially interested in tips from people that have been there, survived that. Did you learn something that taught you to do something differently than one might expect? Links to tutorials that you found particularly helpful?
@ Lea The Lightroom Queen's Missing FAQ I think solves the problem of no internet access for the help menu. In fact its probably better. Yet that format is tough for dealing with coming up with a plan. (or at least I haven't found the right FAQ in the book yet) It was well worth the money though and I could also recommend it.
