Robert G. Earnest
Montana:
This is surprisingly a beautiful photograph.  I say “surprisingly” because it is simple (It even has the three primary colors red, blue and yellow) and something we see every day no matter where we are. This photo depicts good composition, nice framing and perspective.  I like it.

John Palcewski
Shivering Siblings:  The scene looks as if it were taken on a warm summer day because of the clear sky and bright sun, yet I can “feel” how cold the little girls are.

Trevor Cunningham
masmak fortress door:  A perfect image for black and white and made more interesting due to the printing method and subject matter.  I like the door’s textures and “feel” (old and weathered).  Interesting.

Andrew Davidhazy
Serendipity Symmetry:  Before I saw who the photographer is, and what this is actually a photograph of, I thought I was looking at a pair of earrings.  The photograph and design is even more interesting now I know what it really is.  The shot of the lights is perfect for the Christmas season.

I enjoyed the smaller exhibit this time around.  It gave me time to really study each photograph.  Thank you to those who contributed and to Andy and crew for hanging the show.

As an aside – we are getting ready to open a brand new Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) here in Lancaster.  We have a beautiful three story building with a story-and-a-half gallery inside.  The roof is designed for outdoor entertaining and has a glass enclosure.  Board members for MOAH were given a tour of the facility,  recently.   It’s amazing.  Shows and events are being planned as I write this.  I was very pleased when I was invited to be on the board and was chosen partially because I could be a voice for this area’s community of photographers.
