Mark,
Take a look at Martin Evening and Jerry Courvossier's books on Lightroom too, they are good and present things in a slightly different way than Scott Kelby does. As for tutorials, I don't think you can beat the ones from Julianne Kost on Adobe tv. Here's a link: http://tv.adobe.com/product/lightroom/

Well it arrived, and it actually installed easily.  I am using it on a computer that will never see net access.  Sometimes that creates issues, but no problem there.  The downside is there is no help and no paperwork came in the box.  Going to mean keeping the ipad handy with ebooks I guess.

Initial reaction is the big bug a boo that cause such an issue loading seems to have been corrected.  My initial reaction of much of the auto stuff seems good, maybe better than the photoshop auto functions.  Most of the buttons can be figured out.  Keywording looks like its going to be much easier and searching should be far superior than anything I have done in the past.

I see the catalogs, collections and smart collections, but the videos I have watched on that make that as clear as mud.  Catalogs just seem like the folders we filed them in based on subject, date or location.  I guess we all need a new challenge every now and then.

Thanks for all the help everyone.  Guess I better pay Scott Kelby some cash.

Mark
