Nice classic B&W...oh, IR! (The grass doesn't really give it away, it bleaches out sometimes in that sort of landscape; the trees in the distance do, though, when I look closely.) Anyway, nice. These things are traditionally printed rather on the dark side, with the edges printed down, and have apparently infinite depth of field, and you've hit all those check-boxes with a digital version, which amuses me some (and is unlikely to be accidental :-) ).
Michael Hughes - England's dark satanic mills
I even recognized the reference right away. I'm amused at the fancy light over the parking lot in connection with the title. This kind of architectural shot I think looks better with perspective corrected a bit more -- especially when there are verticals intersecting the sides of the frame to emphasize the convergence.
John Palcewski - Fountain
Almost an abstract. The texture of the bowl and shield (all rather corroded, right, that's not their intended state?) and the very high noise in the background actually go together well (I suppose there's similar noise in the bowl, but the detail masks it fairly well.)
Christopher Strevens - Dinner in Mako
Watermelon, even!
Yoram Gelman - Liberty's Ladder
The crepuscular rays are great, but the silhouette doesn't really show sharp, and there seems to be a bit of color fringing there which leaps out at me (since it's creating cyan where there's almost none naturally). I think I might have put the base of the statue lower, and not put the break in the clouds so close to the edge of the frame; but of course I don't know what was actually beyond the edge up there.
