As seen at the PF gallery http://people.rit.edu/andpph/gallery.html
Only fair another PF member chime in with some personal opinions:
Vollach - Namibia
Great sense of vastness and isolation - probably would make a
fantastic mural
Dan Mitchell - Lace-wing fly
Neat - am ambivalent about position of antennae and stuff out of focus
in background - not sure what to make of it.
Emily L. Ferguson - Willet
Nice ... at first I thought this bird was flying over clouds but then
foaming surf hit my perception and made more sense. Maybe a more font
view would have been interesting too but I imagine simply identifying
a fast developing opportunity made possible this slightly "going away"
view.
Michael Hughes - How do you do?
Hmmm ... both faces covered up is a bit problematic. One in shadow and
the other one by camera angle.
Christopher Strevens - Dinner in the care home
Sad and scary reality - don't look forward to facing it
John Palcewski - Does He Really Love Me?
No. He never did.
Trevor Cunningham - light at the fringe of approaching
darkness
A bit too abstract and vague for my taste. Also a bit gray overall.
Can't relate to it well.
Andrew Davidhazy - Bottoms up!
I think Chris said it: We see these moments often around us - true.
Just part of the fabric of life and experiences - snapshots of
fleeting moments when we pay a little extra attention and sometimes,
if ready, "snap" a record. Not taking it all that seriously - in fact
not seriously at all!
