Three cameras or plates? I couldn't imagine the registration challenge involved with moving the camera.

plane shutter but placed in front of the lens assembly.  As it is dropped,

These old autochromes seem to be floating around the list these
days...mind blowing pictures

I like old photos in general, but these are also technically impressive.
