I used to shoot raw+jpg but stopped once I started using Lightroom because I can very quickly import my raw files, examine them and if, for some reason, I need a jpg I can export it in a jiffy.

I shoot both. I use the Jpegs for image previews, sorting and all that stuff but just in case I should accidentally take a good photo, I have the RAW file to work with so that I might make a perfect version of it.
