School politics are the worse basket of crabs that exists and the bites can be nasty.
But students ratings cannot fail and a few of these might hopefully turn the ill winds away.
Speaking of Prof. Andrew Davidhazy, students write:
- "Have had for multiple imaging courses over the years. Absolute genius in the photography world.
- "He is a genius!
- "He's Davidhazy: the living legend and a genius.
- "I have 4 university degrees and have never found anyone by comparison who was even fit to shine his shoes. Absolutely incredible teacher. He is a major authority in the world of photography, with a world reknown reputation as a major contributer in his field. In addtion, he is an incredible human being.
- "the man is pure genius. coolest teacher ever. smartest teacher ever!
- "Fantastic, knowledable problem-solver who sets an atmosphere of creative and technical independent thinking
Best wishes for a quick recovery from the pits.

Dear dan and members of PhotoForum,
The situation is that I have had the "wind knocked out of me" as a result of
some interdepartmental school politics. It has hit me quite hard but I know I
should not let it get to me but this is maybe easier said than done. I am quite
disheartened. And considering various "options" is not easy for me. So the
PF gallery updates have been affected because there are no helpful elves
that prepare this every weekend. "dr eye" after the cataract surgery does not help. I hope to be able to focus and participate more fully soon.

For at least 2 weeks now there has been no movement in the content of the pictures displayed - can someone please explain what is happening ? Is Photoforum defunct, dying, or as I hope, just having a temporary holiday.
I miss even the List, where the contributions have been way down lately.
Dan, U.K.
