I have three full format (full frame) 35mm digital cameras (two 5D bodies and a 5DM2) and together they didn't cost me 8K.

I like owning my gear and I am a full-time professional.

Lately, I have been renting the appropriate camera for the job.
My business has become more like the film industry. No one actually owns cameras anymore. It just doesn’t make business sense to own these cameras. You can’t recover your investment. They are too expensive and become obsolete too quickly.
