No. The price tag on the full frame cameras has not deterred the pros who are actually making an income. That's the wedding shooters, many of the sports and some of the news shooters, the high end advertising shooters, many architectural shooters, many of the biggest newspaper photo departments which are now making their staff shoot video with the most recent Canon and Nikon DSLRs (which are less expensive than digital video cameras) and a bevy of doctors, dentists, lawyers and computer geeks who do photography in their spare time.

It's just a deductible business expense on their Schedule C, and if the wedding shooters are making thed $4-5K per wedding and working two weddings every weekend from mid-spring to the end of fall and one a week all winter, $8K isn't a whole lot of cash.
