This little Powershots are highly regarded. Check out
http://www.dpreview.com for extensive reviews of them and just about
everything else in the way of digital cameras. Shooting Nikon or
Canon or whatever should not affect this sort of decision as far as I
can tell, since the Powershots aren't DSLRs anyway.
There's no sin to using Canons when you've been a Nikon lover for so
long! Or Panasonics, or Fujis or Sonys even!
