Thank you for your comment. It is
something I often see! Chris http://www.chrisspages.co.uk From:
owner- Hi all, I originally sent this on Saturday and it seems to have
gotten lost in cyberspace. If it shows up eventually and there is
a duplicate, I appologize. -----Original Message----- Happy 4th of July to all. I know it is only a holiday over
here but it is still July 4 everywhere:-) As I sit here with a summer cold here are my early thoughts
on this week's gallery. Don Feinberg: I also really like this stairwell and
photographed it myself with a slightly different viewpoint ( http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=4508600 and
yes the print scan was dark but there really is more detail there). I also like
that you resisted centering the spiral. Emily L. Ferguson: Very nice in general. The lighting across
the foreground rocks is good. A slight elevation of the camera, if
possible, would have seperated these rocks from the cliff in the distance. Don Roberts: An interesting image that could use some
different Photoshop processing. I find it too contrasty, the black
silo, and the white walls are too grey. Bob Sull: A nice fun shot. The gull really looks like it is
on guard for parkers and will come steal food if they do. Marilyn Dalrymple: Making cute kitten shots are tough
without them looking like all the others. This one is well done. Michael Hughes: Although I liked last week's image the title
now makes more sense. This is a nice record of the scene and could have been
improved with less direct light. Chris Strevens: A unique scenic photograph. The inclusion of
the car interior and the tea makes it quite personal. Mark Harris http://gsphotoguy.photography.com/ (My
