Emily,
      Should have copied message I was replying to. The person was referring to epileptics and Britain TV warning..  Also the constant flashing makes viewing a bit more unpleasant. When I shot basketball no flash was allowed from the side lines. I can't tell if some pro are using flash from the sidelines or whether it is the fans in the stands. SI used radio control to trigger the units and I assume they still do.

Theirs are powered, however.  Not tripped by on-camera strobes.
