On a more general point I wonder if the rag trade commission video or photo
surveys of what people in general are wearing.
You mention business being slack - are there any breakfast clubs in your
area wherre people in business meet at regular intervals and individuals speak
about their business activity. If not, could you start one in your
patch. Is there an antique shop or specialist craft shop or studio
that might expand its sales by advertising on the internet. Could you offer a
package that included some good photos and text for an advert on EBay or some
other auction site.
Change seems to be the buzzword of the month - at least up to Inauguration
Day - but it does seem to be very important for businesses of all kinds to look
closely at their activities and to prepare a strategy for the leaner times
ahead.
In the part of England where I was brought up there is a saying which can
be translated as 'where there is muck there is money' if the economy is to be
revitalised by spending government funds on repairing and rebuilding, roads,
tunnels, sewers, etc would photo surveys help those who have to dole out the
funds, apply for funds, plan the work?
