J Michael Sullivan - Making Capelettis
I have no idea what a capeletti are but that is a perfect image.
Superb choice of angle, perfect balance of light, beautiful faces,
great angles of the arms. Just great.
Elson T. Elizaga - Clara watching CNN
A very lovely image, Elson. And I'm so glad she's paying attention
to the news, too!
Renate Volz - regrets block light
Neat. What a great idea, to try to express something so broad
through photography, such a literal-minded medium. Very successful.
Peeter Vissak - Trollsleep
I like this very much also. Good balance of light in the foreground,
very interesting perspective, nice to break up the sun with the tree
trunks. Interesting how much the boulder layers look like an open
mouth - do trolls sleep with their mouths open!?
Marilyn Dalrymple - Caught in the Act
Don't see the smoke. Seems desperately cropped and over sharpened.
Am I missing something?
Christopher Strevens - Indian Shop
Well, yes. But what of it?
Roy Miller - Cars Leaving Raleigh
Trying to imagine what the original image looked like. There's a
skewed effect which makes me wonder whether there was an original
image or whether you took elements and combined them, using Photoshop
as an illustration tool. I do kind of like the cartoon effect, but
all in all I'm not sure I'd look at the image more than a moment or
two in an advertising brochure or magazine article.
