When I taught a B&W lab in the 1970's the Rodenstocks lenses we had
were always better two stop closed down from wide open. I don't think they were
the best of Rodenstock lenses The name that jumps into my mine was Rodenstock
Omega lenses but I could be wrong after 30 years.
