Hi, is it possible to convert a grayscale image to a false color version where, let's say dark areas of the grayscale image appear blue in color version and light areas red with in-between densities shades of green mixed with blue, greenish, and green mixed with red. If you know what I mean!! I guess it would be like taking a spectrum and assigning each color a numerical value from 1-255 and then "mapping" these onto a grayscale image. yes? no? how? Help appreciated either way. andy
