Thanks Michael,
It is so interesting seeing behind the scene's of a city,  felt like a priverlige,  and I really wanted to give people a strong idea of these places with my pictures.  We got pretty good permmision for this projects locations as we had te URBIS name behind use,  which carrys a bit of clout in Manchester.  Keen on touring the exhibition at some point and building new pictures of other cities into it.

Cheers again

Thanks for sharing, looks spectacular in the slide show but I'll bet some of it stinks.

It brought back memories of when my then home town celebrated the centenary of its being granted the status of a borough. For a week all the utilities operated by the town were put on show so as a still small boy I went round the gas works, the electricity generating plant (the steel mesh floors of the upper storeys vibrated and were SCARY) and the sewage farm. We missed out on a tour of the sewers though.

Did you get a permit to view or did you remove a drain cover and dangle your camera on a piece of string?

PS the town was on the right side of the border, - Halifax
