I LOVE the leaves I’d love to see the images in the original context with the original backgrounds… Maybe grey and grimy…!

(BTW I can live with the drop shadow)

 

But the imitation handwriting text at the bottom makes the whole thing look rather affected. It looks like you’re trying to emulate those old pseudo-hand-drawn botanical illustrations that they sell in card shops and hang in bars and small hotel rooms.

 

I personally think that if you must have text (Ick) then it should be outside the frame and actually handwritten in pencil; or if printed then a straight forward, un-pretentious typeface like Verdana, Arial etc.
