Online Photoshop?

Quoting from a Web Apps newsletter, from CNET.com:

With Web apps, who needs Photoshop?
Traditional thinking says you need a native compiled PC application to do heavy lifting on your computer, like editing photographs. That thinking is wrong. Or at least soon will be. Two Flash-based apps that run in a browser, Phoenix and FotoFlexer, are beginning to challenge the standard app.

Neither can replace Photoshop today, especially not for the professional user. But these apps keep getting more capable, and thus more useful for a large number of users. And it won't be long until Adobe releases its own online photo editor, too.
How Phoenix competes with PhotoShop

 FotoFlexer: Another online image editor
 Another one: Picnik
