: Hi Karl - as long as I have been using Photoshop, I : feel like a duh - I have been using it mainly to edit : all my photomicrographs, now I'm at the end to put my : manuscript together. : Thanks so much for your quick response. : Barbara Photoshop really is a graphic design package and in making graphic presentations it has no equal, though it takes a lot of fiddling to learn all it can do ;) Best bet is to look for some PS tutorials *specifically* designed for graphics rather than photographic output But it's not adequate as a layout tool for books and the like, and other suggestions made earlier stand as better examples of software suited for the job. regards karl
