Here is an online article on the Ethics of Digital Photo Manipulation.

oto_Manipulation.htm

Mentions a Digital Manipulation Code of Ethics
The National Press Photographer's Code of Ethics Statement of Principle.

Subject: The Ethics of Photography...

I'm looking for references for a student who wants to explore this
field. At the moment she is not sure of the precise direction so any
suggestions are welcome!
In other words,
When is it right or wrong to take a picture?
And to follow, when is it right or wrong to take a picture for oneself When
is it right or wrong to publish a picture? When is it wrong to manipulate a
picture to prove a (presumably) dubious
point?
When is it wrong to select one of a series of pictures to prove a
(presumably) dubious point?

Thank you, Howard
