My uncle was a keen photographer never losing a chance to take pictures 
with his Leica on holiday or at family events. Our wedding album (1958) includes 
one of his colour photos  accompanied by a note that the film tore after 
the first exposure.  (As was usual in those days the professional 
only used  monochrome)
