I think I still have some of those around here somewhere.  I suppose 
they're of value still to someone?  My father had those old Leicas 
back in the early 60's.  He loaned me one dating from just before the 
war as a starter camera.  Lost rolls of film because I couldn't get 
the takeup reel to pick up the tab.

Why Leica didn't hinge the back I'll never understand.
