 I see that my image in the tree gallery has caused some controversy. Good thing too.

I had originally intended to send this image: www.herschelmair.com/tree.jpg

But I thought it far too literal.

 

Trees have long been personified with branches reaching to the sky and wind singing in the leaves etc.

Also family trees? I thought I’d reverse the process and tree-ify the human, with a big locust showing some interest in the “foliage”

It requires a bit of a stretch of the imagination. But stretching isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
