I just bought four Ektagraphics for $20 ea.!   I had one apart to lube and was reminded of how really crude the old technology was.  The labor-intensive assembly involved hundreds of parts and opperations.

gawd!

I was just given a lowly 800x600 LCD data projector witha  blown globe -
looking around at the prices for replacement bulbs, it is astonishing how
much one of these short xenon lamps costs!

makes the old slide projector look worthwhile again! :)
