The big news in the world of Mac revolves around a software company
that provided the useful software applications that helped maintain
Apple's market share when things were looking less peachy a decade
ago. Anyone out there NOT heard of Photoshop??

Adobe has introduced their next line of software applications under
the heading of Creative Suite 3. There are now new versions of
Photoshop, Contribute, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Illustrator, Flash,
InDesign, SoundBooth, and the list goes on. Adobe lets one purchase
these modules individually, but most choose to buy them bundled. The
Adobe Creative Suite bundles have different levels of inclusion.

There's the Master Collection, Production Premium, Web Standard, Web
Premium, Design Standard, and Design Premium.

From the Adobe site:

"The Adobe Creative Suite 3 family offers you choice ? in the
combination of creative tools you master, the design disciplines you
explore, and the richness and scope of content you create. This
revolutionary new release includes six editions, each combining
tightly integrated, industry-leading components that enable you to
handle virtually any creative task.
Together these six editions of Creative Suite 3 address virtually
every creative discipline and empower you to work more efficiently
with your creative team; collaborate more closely with developers to
produce engaging experiences; and serve your clients, your business,
and your creative vision more easily and effectively than ever before."

These version updates will undoubtedly cement the Mac platform as the
clear choice for production professionals.
