Hi Roy,
I am sorry but I don't have an answer for you. If it opens from one drive but not from another then it seems it's a problem, with the computer rather than with the software.

BTW I am not too good with computers generally and especially dumb with operating systems. I haven't a clue when it comes to Windows!
I know certain applications well but when I'm outside of those apps I'm at sea and I often need the help that only certified geeks can supply.
The reason I am so late replying to this email is that my own computer died 2 days ago and I just got it back. I have a very fancy G5 Mac in the office and a very fancy PC at home. (I need a PC to run Adobe Production Studio CS2)
The Mac gives a little less heartache.

Sorry I coudn't help

Herschel

I can open Photoshop Help if I boot from my older drive.

Hershel,
I tried to open Photoshop (7.0) help and it doesn't open. I looked in the Adobe folder and found it and can open one random page by clicking on the file and having it displayed in Internet Explorer. I wonder if all the different updates from window, aol (mcafee) virus stuff or norton virus stuff (even though norton is removed I still get errror messages when I open up my word processor that certain norton dll are not found). I just had an idea. I will try booting from my other drive and see if it can open Photoshop Help.
