I ditto the ditto. Just one thing that seems to be a hallmark of our age: the love of the "apparently random" image and composition, with the "meaning" left for the viewer to create. Personally, I'm a little jaded with "cool" images lacking emotional involvment. In this case I prefer the frame to the picture. http://georgiadis.googlepages.com/ -- Alex Georgiadis On 8/19/06, lea murphy <lea@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
I would have to ditto that exactly. I thought it was a wonderful site put together very well with wonderful images. VERY easy to get around in which is always a treat. The presentation is handsome and compelling. It succeeds with its informal yet elegant "Here, take a look" effect of being a hand-full of actual pictures. I am not bothered that I cannot read the captions and do not know the purpose of the piece (sales, personal portfolio, etc?). Please congratulate the artist for her superb work. But overall, I find it a bit disconcerting. Some of it is obviously associated with cultural differences in the treatment of images between France and North America. But I wonder if this is the only thing that puzzles me. Before I finalize my review, I wonder if anyone would care to have a quick look at the site and tell me how they fee l. Thanks and best regards, Guy lea murphy www.whinydogpress.com www.leamurphy.com
