Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the
summer.
While cleaning some 4 X 5 film holders (enough
of digital for now - I'm going to make some cyanotype and gum prints), I
found one film holder that is different from all the rest and I'm not sure what
it is for.
It is a 4 X 5 Folmer Graflex Corp item. One
edge states, "Graphic Plate, Pat. June 7, 1927."
Under the film's dark slide, on each side,
there are frame-like inserts with a long, narrow spring on the back.
One side has a piece of glass in it, the other side doesn't.
Does anyone know what I have?
I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thank
you.
