it's been processed by a lab.
That makes lots of differences. Go down the check list for black spots on prints. Start with the wash, for bubbles form when the negative is stopped without a good wash first.

Poorly mixed chemicles was my guess, because I thought you did the development yourself. Who does pyrogallol formula in a lab? Do they put it through a machine?

As them why there are black spots on your prints, and then tell us.
