Does the d200 take the non-chip AI/AIS lenses?
I have a bunch of those and hate not to be able to use them

Before the theft I was thinking about the EOS 5D, (although I don't
like the fact that it lack a built in flash . I do like the X1 factor
that retain the wide angle lenses focal distance. )
Now, again, I have fears as described before. Should I go with 30D ?
What do you guys think about a good combo for a traveler ?
there is no doubt Canon makes a decent camera but I'm partial to
Nikon. The recently introduced D200, which I've just upgraded to, is
an awesome piece of equipment at almost half the price of the 5D.
Here's a side-by-side comparison of the two cameras.

this camera with the newly introduced Nikon18-200 VR (which I
have on order) is, to my mind, the absolute perfect travel combo.
