That's It! Look at the recent Time magazine. What got me was the 'new
movement' towards the footsteps of mankind rather than open spaces.
Richard Newman, director of education prlgrams for Calument was called upon
to help judge the Kodak contest. He was telling me about the process and
the fact that he was dissapointed there were so few pictures of the Katrina
disaster. The human side of that event was not only overlooked in the
pictures submitted, but there was only one portfolio that showed anything of
that event, that landscape . . . pictures from all over the world and the
American entries overlooked their own human tradgedy.
People back in the landscape, seems to be what's called for Greg. You've
hit it.
