I'd charge them $100 bucks for the shoot, offer online proofing of images via email and an additional $45 for a cd with one image on it optimized to print at 8x10.

Hi Gang...............

Now here is a thought..........

I do all sorts of photos for a few local Theatre companies.........

I often do Head Shots for the performers.....

Most often they order reprints from me.

Now lets say they want to order an 8x10 from me
and they want to take it to some place and have a zillion copies made of it.

(I don't mind doing a certain amount of reprints
but I am not set up to run off a hundred of them)

(I am shooting and printing digital)
(and I do have a dedicated B&W printer)

They will need a letter from me to give to this printer
giving my permission to copy and print this photo.

Now lets remember we not talking about a commercial
account here, these are local people who do Theatre
either as a hobby or they are trying to establish themselves
locally before they move on to the bright lights of the big city.

So what might be a fair price to charge them for the letter?

I want to make a few dollars.

But I want to be fair and encourage them to
recommend me to their friends in Theatre also.

Bear in mind that for some reason most folks who do the Performing Arts tend to be as poor as Church Mice.

I guess it's the "wait on tables for a job" while doing Theatre thing.
I am open to suggestions..............

Thanks
